My Thoughts...

This exhibition is the resulting finished work from the 'Art in the Park' six day residency which took place in July, 2008. I was one of six artists (Kip Wiley, Nicola McGarry, Christina Romeo, Gwen Lips, Jackie Pendergast and myself) who spent five days in Glacier National Park, hiking, sketching, and sharing creativity with the group. The experience was amazing and some exciting work was created by the group and displayed at the Revelstoke Visual Art Centre in Revelstoke, B.C. This inaugural project was sponsored by Parks Canada, Friends of Mount Revelstoke, and BC 150 in exchange for rights to use the work for promotions and to travel for the period of one year.
